The bench of justice Dipankar Datta and justice GS Kulkarni was also stated that masks could be distributed to people who do not have masks or cannot afford them.
The plea was filed by lokshahiwadi Balasaheb sarode smriti prabodhan upakram through advocates Ajinkya udane and Asim sarode suggesting that masks worn by specially abled persons should have some mark so that it could be easily identified.
Advocate udane also showed some sample stickers which could be placed on the masks of disabled people.
The bench also directed to state for providing masks to the homeless and beggars living on the street.The court went step ahead and asked the state what its policy for vaccinating people who do not have electric devices to register themselves for vaccination.
