The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has submitted its action taken report (ATR) in J&K High Court, on Friday, in cases registered to probe the irregularities in transfer of land under Roshni Act. The act was scrapped and held to be unconstitutional by the HC in its October 9 judgment.
The counsel, during the physical hearing, handed over the sealed cover of ATR to the bench, thereafter the court took note of the progress of the investigation Carried out by the CBI so far. Till now the CBI has registered 9 FIR’s under the above mentioned irregularities.
The CBI has also booked former J&K minister Taj Mohiuddin in connection with alleged illegal regularisation of encroached forest land in his name under the Roshni Act.
