On 27th September, Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal launched ‘Dekho Mere Dilli’ mobile app on the occasion of World Tourism Day, to boost tourism. The app is the first tourism facilitating app in India.
The Delhi government stated that this is their best foot forward to promote tourism and the app would be a game-changer.
The main motive behind the launch of this app is to facilitate tourists to get complete information about the tourist places in Delhi. Tourists will be able to book tickets for various tourist spots through the app.
The app has a unique feature that allows persons to browse through monuments, eating joints, entertainment and recreation sites within a 5 kilometre radius of a particular location. It also provides information regarding public transportation.
The app will not only help tourists but it’ll also help Delhiites understand their city better. It also allows the users of the app to get a virtual tour of tourist spots in Delhi.
