The petition was filed by three students. They said that in the case of Rithvik Balanagraj(supra) given directions to the exams. Petitioners are treated contravene to the directions issued by the court in this case.
Here the respondent – Karnataka State Law University adopted the 50-50 formula valuation for their even semester exams conducted on June 2020 as per guidelines dated 31.3.2021.
Clause No.7 of the guidelines said that 40% of marks are considered to be a pass. If a candidate secures less than 40% including theory and internal assessment of previous semester exams consider to be a fail.
Petitioners said that the directions given under clause No.7 are contravened directions issued by the court because they do not consider petitioners’ previous semester exam marks.
