Death of Manipur student in Noida, plea to re-open probe  

The facts of the case was Pravish Chanam was found dead in Noida after he went to attend a music concert.

He was a Manipur student who died suspiciously on September 8, 2017 with injuries on his head.

The special CBI court at ghaziabad had reserved order on the protest petition filed by the family of
Pravish.

Petition was filed through Advocate Dushyant Kumar alleging that the investigation agency has closed the case without taking into proper and crucial evidence in this case.

It was alleged by the family member of Pravish that the local police has cremated his body as “unclaimed” after proper autopsy, without waiting for the family members to arrive even though a missing complaint was filed earlier after pravish went missing.

The case was transferred to CBI after a outcry of public chaos asking for proper investigation in the case.

The court will pronounce order on the protest petition on September 30th.
