Title of the case:- Ajay Kumar Vs The State
In this lawsuit, the minor-aged girl was 16 years old. She was kidnapped by the accused Jitender pal and took the victim into the hotel and was raped by him for four days.
In that hotel, they have not followed proper records of the guests, and that hotel was running without a valid license. So it is easy for the accused to do a crime.
The petitioner who was the owner of that hotel submitted that he was not responsible for bookings that were done by hotel staff.
So the Delhi High Court which was benched by Justice Rajnish Bhatnagar observed that at the time of booking if the hotel had taken the ID of the victim she would be saved from rape.
So the court denied anticipatory bail to the owner of a hotel.
