FACTS:-
The petitioner has been getting treatment for 36 days in Delhi private hospitals and he was discharged with excess billing of medical costs which amount to Rs 17,89,329.
Due to this excessive charge, the petitioner filed a plea in Delhi HC for seeking directions against private hospitals which they have violated the government order.
While hearing the Advocate appear for the Delhi government asked for a committee to be formed in each district to file a complaint about overcharging by a private hospital.
The court directed the Delhi government to form a committee in dealing with cases related to overcharging by private hospitals.
