A division bench of Justice Bela M. Trivedi and Bhargav D. Karia in Gujarat High court asked the state government to adopt the “3 T Model” to curb the outbreak of pandemic.
A division bench was hearing a suo moto PIL on Covid -19 management in the State.
Senior Advocate Percy Karina said that the state government has not provided the details of vaccination to be carried out in the State of Gujarat. On the other hand they are taking sufficient steps for people’s vaccination at large.
Karina urged that the state government to make available primary health services on remote/rural areas and also urged to order a physical examination at these places by domain experts like Doctors and Lawyers.
Advocate AJ Yagnik raised a variety of issues with respect to treatment of vulnerable groups. He also submitted that no steps are taken by the state govt on the issue kd priority vaccination of inmates of old age homes, juvenile homes, etc… They had not take any steps except issuing the circular
