In a petition for suspending the sentence of Asaram Bapu on medical grounds the Rajasthan High Court has summoned the latest medical report for its perusal on 21st of May.
The division bench of Justices Sandeep Mehta and Devendra Kachhawaha sought the medical condition of Asaram Bapu who is currently being treated at AIIMS, Jodhpur.
In another petition filed by Asaram’s son, Narayan Sai seeking to apply Ayurveda treatment for his father, the bench of Justice Vinit Kumar Mathur has sought for a medical report on 26th of May by the State Government.
He moved to High Court alleging that the health of Asaram Bapu is on downhill due to lack of proper treatment and care during the judicial custody, proposing the method of Ayurveda treatment which is most effective on Asaram’s body.
The State counsel has ensured the Court of presenting the medical report and treatment of Asaram Bapu within 2 days.
