Delhi High Court declines to grant interim protection to Navneet Kalra

The Delhi high court has declined to grant interim protection relief to businessman Navneet Kalra in connection with the oxygen concentrator black marketing case.

The matter was heard today by justice Subramonium Prasad who had also taken up the matter yesterday evening.Request for an adjournment was made by additional solicitor general SV Raju who submitted that time was needed to file a response.

Advocate manu Singhvi also contented that in the absence of government order capping the price of oxygen concentrators, Kalra could not be said to be in violation of the essentials commodities Act.

The matter to be heard next on 18 May, 2021.
