A man, who was claiming himself to be a Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer, was booked by the Ambala police as he was trying to collect information about the movement of the Army unit.
On the complaint of Colonel CB Rai, a case has been registered against Rahul, claiming himself to be the assistant director of IB.
As per the complaint, he(Rahul) called the colonel to obtain the information of the movement of the army unit, and he gave him another contact number, however the official of the army didn’t give him any information and asked him to visit the office.
Thus, a case was being registered against him under section 170 and 419 of Indian Penal Code at Ambala Cantonment police station as after enquiring the identity of the person, it was found that he is fake person.
