Maharashtra government has listed advocate offices as an exempted category in the latest order issued under section 144 of the code of criminal procedure and also has imposed state wide restrictions on public movement in the wake of Covid -19 surge.
The offices of advocates are allowed to open with 50% capacity only if the tribunals and the courts are working.
All other establishment apart from essential categories are closed. Exempted category activities can be operated from 7 Am to 8 Pm without any restrictions.
The government has also made clear essential services include: Hospitals,diagnostic centres, pharmacies , vet services, grocery stores, vegetable vendors and bakeries. Transportation, telecom , Banks , E-commerce, water supply are also to be included in it.
Local trains and bus services are to be used for essential services and exemption category only.and vehicles should be sanitised after every trip.
