Chief Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice GS Kulkarni of Bombay High Court are looking into the Case of alleged malpractice by Anil Deshmukh.
The Court has taken into consideration three petitions together, including one filed by Ghanshyam Upadhyay to entail a Special Investigation Team to look into extortion charges as Stated by ParamBir Singh.
The other plea of an accountant sought to form another committe headed by a Supreme Court or High Court retired judge and the third plea requested a CBI probe.
The Advocates argued that The Committe inquiry was not sufficient and since the Home Minister was involved, the Court should have taken sup moto cognizance.
The Advocate General maintained that the plea is not maintainable and the allegations brought about by Singh was owing to a personal vendatta.
The court has reserved its orders after hearing the counsels.
