On Monday, the Delhi High Court issued notice to Congress president (interim) Sonia Gandhi and Congress member Rahul Gandhi on the petition submitted by BJP lawmaker Subramanian Swami which challenges the order of trial court regarding summoning of the documents and witnesses in National Herald case.
Justice Suresh Kait, stayed the order of trial court till April 12 and sought the stand of Gandhi’s and others.Swami in his petition has accused the Gandhi’s and others of conspiring to cheat and misappropriate funds by paying only Rs. 50 lakhs.
In his petition, he has sought summoning of certain witnesses including secretary general of the Supreme Court.
