The Delhi High Court on Mon directed the National Commission for Minorities (NCM) to file a standing report explaining why several posts are lying vacant since Oct 2020.

A single-judge bench of Justice Prathiba M. Singh asked the NCM to file the same report inside ten days. The directions were passed whereas the court was hearing a petition for imposing the provisions of the NCM Act thereby filling all vacant posts within the Commission.
