BJP MP Manoj Kotak has written to the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar, demanding immediate action against Saif Ali Khan’s web series Tandav. MP kotak said that the web series hurts the sentiments of hindu and is insulting hindu gods and hence he demanded a body to govern the OTT platforms.
Meanwhile, another BJP leader Ram Kadam has approached the Ghatkopar Police Station to file a case against the makers of the web series for hurting the hindu sentiments.
BJP MP Kotak also said that,” OTT platform have become very famous among the young generation and they are very much influenced by the content available. The OTT content is also free from any kind of censorship and they have content which is full of sex, violence, drugs, abuse, hate and vulgarity.”
On this particular web series he said that, ” This web series has mocked Hindu gods and disrespected Hindu religious sentiments.”
