A woman was found hanging to a ceiling fan in her rented accommodation in Kurukshetra on Thursday. Her husband and other three family members were booked for allegedly killing her.The deceased has been identified as Gurpreet resident of New Model Town and the accused as her husband,Sheetal Kumar, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and husband of sister-in-law.
Gurpreet mother, in the complaint, alleged that her daughter has married Sheetal eight years ago, who was at that time resident of Kaithal district. Sheetal had gone abroad two months ago. Also, they have a one year old boy.Also her mother told and alleged in the complaint that, ” she had been living in a rented accommodation from the past five months. And today she lodged a complaint against her husband, mother-in-law and sister-in-law at the SP office as they were harrassing her. And later on she was found hanging to a ceiling fan at her accommodation.”
As per the officials, it appears to be a case of suicide and the postmortem has been conducted and the body was handed over to the family members of the deceased.
