Aap’s MLA Atishi Marlena and Raghav Chadha has approached Delhi High Court to obtain a permission granting a peaceful four people protest outside the residence of Amit Shah and Delhi Leutinanat Governor, Anil Baijal.
Both the MLA’s wanted to protest against the alleged misappropriation of Rs.2500 Cr by North Delhi Municipal Corporation. Before approaching the High Court, they went to Delhi Police to obtain the same but were denied on the grounds of COVID norms.
Their lawyer argued that these protesters know how to prefer social distancing. This protest was to be carried out from 2-2:30p.m. to 4:30p.m. by only four legislators sitting peacefully outside their residence.
