17th Asian Law Institute Virtual Conference 2020 Hosted By NLU Delhi

Prof. Srikrishna Deva Rao (Vice Chancellor of NLU-D) and Associate Prof. Kelry Loi (Co-Director, ASLI), National University of Singapore opened the 17th Aisan Law Institute Virtual Conference 2020
being hosted by National Law University Delhi.

The event is being conducted from 7th to 9th November on the theme “Law and Justice in Asia”.

Justice DN Patel, Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court and Chancellor of NLUD wad the Special Guest for the event. Justice NV Ramana, Supreme Court Judge and Visitor of the University was the keynote speaker. He discussed the definitions of justice and the challenges faced by Asian countries on the concept, in his speech.

On the opening day, the conference marked an attendance of 150 participants. More than 200 research papers will be presented at the conference within the next 3 days. The conference aims to break barriers, build new friendships and exchange potential solutions in the legal world.

The 18th ASLI Conference will be held next year at Universitas Pelita Harapan in September 2021.
