A plea of investigative journalist Umesh Kumar Sharma was dismissed on Friday by supreme court for seeking a transfer of three criminal cases pending against him to Delhi from Dehradun on the ground of being targeted by the BJP lead Uttarakhand government.
A list of pending cases against the petitioners were referred 17 cases relating to the petitioner came out to the state of Uttarakhand, 4 cases from state of UP, 5 cases from the state of West Bengal and 2 cases are from Delhi out of which one case was under CBI for investigation and another one at Ranchi, Jharkhand.
