A professional dancer was allegedly shot at outside a night club in Chandigarh on Sunday night. The incident took place outside the Eskobar club which is located in Sector 9, Chandigarh. Allegedly, the accused has a criminal background.
The victim Sourav Gujjar was also a famous name on now-banned app Tiktok. He was allegedly shot in the leg by the accused after being attacked. The accused was identified as Moviz Bains.The accused, a resident of Ludhiana has a criminal history. On the day of the incident, three other persons were accompanying the prime accused. A person present at the night club recorded the entire incident and posted in social media. After the assault, the accused allegedly shot Gujjar on the leg.
At around 12 midnight, the DSP Krishan Kumar, SHO PS3 Sher Singh and other officials reached the spot but the accused managed to flee. Kumar said, “The main assailant has been identified and raids are being conducted for nabbing him. There was no previous rivalry between the victim and assailants. A sudden provocation broke out resulting in the firing. Three bullet shells were recovered from the spot.”A case of attempt to murder has been filed against the accused. The police said that raids are being conducted to nab the accused.
