
The Role of the Government of Himachal Pradesh was well appreciated by the Ministry of External Affairs.
The Government facilitated the return of 4.384 stranded persons of the state from 76 countries during the pandemic when the lockdown was imposed. Chief Secretary Anil Khachi claimed that Himachal is the only state of the country to receive this appreciation so far.
In the letter, HPās Deputy Resident Commissioner at Delhi, Vivek Mahajan stated that HP governmentās office in New Delhi for its āsincere work by rising to the occasion at short noticesā and with proper coordination.
The letter also stated that the HP governmentās office in New Delhi had been āproactive in facilitating the passengers of HP returning from abroad besides reaching out to local authorities in Delhi, Amritsar and Cochinā.
