NRI Doctor to sue Air India for wrong call regarding his wife’s death

A 77-year-old doctor has now decided to sue the airline, as the information about his wife’s death was wrong. Dr Vinayakom, a reputed anaesthesiologist, who is settled in the United States, got a call from an Air India official who told him that his wife has died on board a flight to Washington DC from New Delhi.
A woman had indeed died on board the flight, however, she had wrongly occupied the business class seat booked by Dr Subba Laxmi. Air India authorities said they would look into the complaint seriously & take appropriate steps once the flight crew is back from the US.
