The Gujarat High Court has launched the E-Writ Module on 2 October on account of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti. It will enable the High Court to send digitally signed bail orders to the District Courts.
The module is both court and litigant friendly as it reduces time of physical transmission of bail orders and prevents any procedural delays. It also sends concerned notifications to Advocate representing the inmate.
The concerned District Court, as per the Bail Order of the High Court, can upload the copy of the communication sent to the concerned Jail for purpose of the cross checking with the Jail Yadi received from the concerned Court. The Gujarat High Court shall also start publishing select High Court Orders/Judgements in the Gujarati Language on the Gujarat High Court’s website.
