Attorney General isolated himself in quarantine

Attorney General for India KK Venugopal is under self-quarantine after his colleague tested positive for COVID-19 informed by Supreme Court on Monday.
Venugopal being in quarantine as he sought adjournment in a case concerning appointments to different tribunals informed by the Additional Solicitor General SV Raju informed the Bench of Justices L Nageswara Rao and Hemant Gupta
SG Mehta was not present in the hearing.
Subsequent to the setting up of COVID-19 testing camps at the Delhi High Court premises, as of September 4, as many as 32 court staff from the High Court and 315 from the district courts tested positive for the virus.
Out of these 315, 13 were judicial officers, sources close to the development confirmed to Bar & Bench.
