
The Allahabad High Court has extended the operation of its interim orders as well as those of courts subordinate to it till October 31.
on account of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic that the regular functioning of “most of the District Courts, Civil Courts, Family Courts, Labour Courts, Industrial Tribunals and other Tribunals” was disturbed the Court deemed it appropriate to extend the operation of interim orders “in the interests of justice.
While calculating the period of a caveat’s validity that the lockdown period and the days during which the working of Courts and tribunals has been suspended is excluded.
On August 19, the administrative wing of the Allahabad High Court also extended the suspension of its proceedings for two more days, continuing the operation of its circular dated August 16.
