Prominent Indian Poet, Painter and Bollywood Lyricist Dr. Rahat Indori passed away at the age of 70 due to cardiac arrest after he was tested positive for the coronavirus on August 11.
He was admitted to the Shri Aurobindo hospital in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Dr. Vinod Bhandari of Shri Aurobindo Hospital said that “He suffered two heart attacks today and could not be saved. He was admitted to hospital on Sunday, after testing positive for Covid-19. He had 60% pneumonia”. He had suffered three consecutive cardiac episodes.
