
Madhya Pradesh State Legal Service Authority has successfully imparted 40 Hours mediation training sessions to the advocates where a single judge is posted.
24 advocates across the nation were trained during a 20-day training schedule from July 27 to August 7 on various mediation topics like bargaining, negotiation, the psychology of conflict, drafting of agreements, and overcoming impasse. The training session is organized and managed by Mr. Rajiv Karmahe and Mrs. Giribala Singh, which aimed at settling conflicts and resolving disputes from the ground level.
MPLSA in an official press release stated that “Madhya Pradesh became the first State to take up 40 Hours Online Training Mediation Programme and this step will go a long way in resolution of disputes in remote areas with the services of trained advocate mediators.”
