PM Modi is all set to launch testing facilities for Noida, Mumbai and Kolkata. This is to speed up the testing capacity and also to prevent the delayed detection and treatment.
It is also decided that a virtual launch event will be held which will be attended by Union Health minister Harsh Vardhan and the chief ministers of Maharashtra, West Bengal and Uttar pradesh.
There are already three testing facilities have been set at :
ICMR Institutions – National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research in Noida.
National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health in Mumbai
National Institute of Cholera and Enteric Diseases in Kolkata.
In the statement given by the Prime Minister’s office , it can be said that it will be able to test 10,000 samples.
