During a virtual e-summit a Statement of intent was signed according to which Coal India Limited has partnered with Atal Innovation Mission. The aim of this partnership is to provide support to various entrepreneurship initiatives and innovation programs of AIM.
This partnership will focus to encourage the talended youth’s of India to create an Atmanirbhar Bharat. In order to achieve Atmanirbhar Bharat, Coal India Limited will conduct training sessions by adopting number of schools, so that the teachers could be able to provide mentoring support to the students.
CIL will support the youths by adopting programs such as by hosting innovation-based events, etc. As CIL is operating in remote areas of the country, this will help the youths of these unserved and under served regions. Due to these efforts of CIL youth will understand the power of Innovation and entrepreneurship in future, local jobs will be created that will help in creating a sustainable AtmaNirbhar Bharat.
