
Kashmir is going through a heavy loss in terms of business activities . Due to the lockdown since August 5, i.e approx 10 months, Kashmir faced a phase where over nine lakh youths have become unemployed in the region.
Kashmir is in lockdown for almost 10 months, due to special status when j&k downgraded to two Union Territories. Since then Kashmir has faced a loss of around 18000 crores, according to KCCI report .
The trade organisations in Kashmir urged from the Central Government and the Reserve Bank of India, to provide them with help regarding the strong economic packages and the revival of the business. The businessman of the region is expressing the sorrow of grief for not being able to fulfill the criteria to avail the benefit of 21 lakh crore, which the union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced, as they were going through the crises due to Covid-19 and other serious issues.
