Covid-19 in UK: India-origin doctors launch legal challenge on PPE

Amidst the lockdown, two Indian origin doctors in the UK have launched a challenge against Boris Johnson government for inadequate protection provisions for the doctors. The challenge was raised when hospital ran out of full-length gowns and the doctors were asked to wear plastic aprons with coveralls.

The doctors challenged the official guidance on the grounds that it does not meet the international standards set by the World Health Organisation.
