One Nation One Ration Card

Five more state/UTs added under “one nation one ration card”
The ministry of consumer affairs food and public distribution approve five states which include UP, bihar, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Himachal pradesh under One Nation One Ration Card. With this around 60crore beneficiars will be added under National Food Security Act. One Nation One Card includes 12 states already.
The main objective of the scheme is inter state portability of ration cards.
