A 17 Year-old Indian-origin girl named NASA’s Mars Helicopter:
Vaneeza Rupani during a NASA’s ” Name the Rover ” contest named NASA’s Helicopter as INGENUITY and won the contest. She is from Northport, Alabama and studies in high school .
The contest was about writing an essay where almost 28,000 entries from k 12 students came and the girl earned the honour of naming the helicopter.
