UGC issued guidlines for the students on 29 April 2020. The new academic Session shall start from 1 August for old students and from 1 September for New students. Exams for terminal semesters will commence from 1st July to 15th July and for intermediate semesters from 16th July to 30th July.
In case of critical situation, students shall be promoted to next semester on the basis of 50% of previous semester score and rest on the basis of internal assesment marks.
Pattern of examinations may also be changed and based on MCQ/OMR, open book exams etc., if the situation demands. The method of exams shall be uniform for the whole university. Universities are also free to made reasonable changes, alterations, addition or subtraction according to their respective needs.
